Karen Mattingley

At 19, Karen began her real estate career. Since then, she has worked in residential sales, property management, sales leadership roles and now retirement village sales and training. In 2006 she joined the Aevum group where she managed the sales and marketing strategies for 24 retirement villages across Australia.

This insider experience was invaluable and has provided Karen with a genuine understanding and empathy for the challenges facing village operators.

For the past 15 years, Karen has specialised in retirement living sales and now has a dedicated team of seniors living sales experts to support her. Her experience includes working with not-for-profit and publicly listed retirement village operators, providing outstanding sales outcomes for both.

An area of special expertise is the sale of multi-level, off-the-plan retirement village projects where she has developed an impressive sales record.

In fact, Karen and her retirement living sales teams have sold more than 500 independent living units (ILU). This equates to 100s of Australian seniors successfully transitioning into village living and over $550m in retirement village sales for the village operators she represents.
